We have together with a highly qualified client delivered a project that will be an arena for both amateur and top sports for a long time to come" says Jon Børge Stette , VP Projects at Dr.techn. Olav Olsen AS. The company delievered complete design management and coordination of all technical diciplines. Stette continues to says that despite challenging ground conditions and several delays along the way, it has been a pleasure to work with this important project, not only for the municipality as a client, but also for Norwegian ice sports.
The arena houses 5,500 spectators and is the home arena for Vålerenga Hockey. The hall meets international standards (American NHL) with its ice surface of 61x26 meters.
