Official opening of the new urban area in Bjørvika!
Publisert: 12. september, 2025It is always exciting to follow a project from sketch to takeover, and next week there will be the official opening of Vannkunsten Syd, part of the new urban space in Bispevika in Bjørvika. Dr.techn. Olav Olsen has through his collaboration with OSU - Oslo S Development, architects and other consultants for a number of years been engaged in the development of this part of the capital. Both residential and commercial properties will together with beautiful outdoor areas close to the waterfront be available for the people of Oslo.
Department Manager Buildings, Magnus Engseth, says that this is a project Dr.techn. Olav Olsen has been involved in from early sketch and preliminary project to detailed design of basements, which was completed in 2023. "Complex tasks, good technical solutions with many good examples have given us valuable experience that we will take with us further into new, exciting assignments and opportunities," says Engseth. We congratulate Oslo S Utvikling with this great new urban space in Oslo.
